Poop Scope Engagement

Hey, this story is about my mom. Here’s a lil back story. My parents have been together for almost 40 years and never married. My dad has given my mom 4 engagement rings so far lol. So....
A few years ago my dad had given her a ring. Told her it was engagement ring. She said it looked like a promise ring so he said ok fine, I promise to buy to an engagement ring. Fast forward a few years and she now has the new one.
One day they had a disagreement and my mom taken the ring off and threw it across the floor. At the time we have a family dog ( lab mix) named Sookie. Unknown to my mom, dad picked up the ring and hid it away. For many hours my mom sat at the kitchen table waiting for our dog to do her number 2 business. Every time the dog did, my mom was out there suited up and gloves on looking for this ring she thought the dog ate, ( yes, she was going through the doggy poo) . My dad would watch her from the window for days and weeks. Finally he gave in and told her that he hid the ring all along but she did a great job cleaning up dog poop 😂
