COWGIRL TRIATHLON
Saturday April 19th, doors open at 6:30pm, event starts at 7pm.
Tickets will only be sold at the door.
A never seen before event will take place in the Lewis Hawks arena. This event will showcase the talents of cowboys and cowgirls of all ages competing for the title in two different events. Cowgirl Triathlon, focusing on the bond between a horse and a rider. 20 girls will compete head to head showing horsemanship, talent and the skills it takes to compete in not 1, not 2 but 3 events all in the same run. Roping, Riding and tying.
These girls must do it all on one horse and try to master each event all while being the fastest. Wildhorse Racing, containing multiple heats, this event goes back to the roots of rodeo, teams will face off as they try to calm, saddle and ride an unbroken horse in under two minutes.
This takes an incredible amount of teamwork and dedication as it is “wild” and fast paced. Just like in the old west. These two events have never been seen together to put on a once in a lifetime show. The relationships between the competitors and horses will be one that you will surely not want to miss.
